CDL A Building Materials Delivery Driver

Compensation: $25-$27/HR with overtime after 40 hours

Average Pay: $1,000+ weekly with consistent weekly pay

Location: Roanoke, VA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Weekends Off

Start Time: 5:00 AM

Shift Length: Average 8–10 Hour Shifts

Position Type: Full-Time | Home Daily

Responsibilities

• Operate a Straight Truck/Box Truck on local delivery routes.
• Deliver building materials within a 150-mile radius of Roanoke, VA.
• Touch freight required with unloading at residential and commercial job sites.
• Strap and secure loads prior to transport.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
• Use forklift equipment when applicable during deliveries and unloading.
• Maintain safe driving practices and follow DOT regulations.
• Work consistent daytime hours with reliable weekly pay.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 24 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience required.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform touch freight and assist with unloading materials.
• Must be willing to strap loads and assist with loading/unloading duties.
• Experience using a forklift preferred.
• No DUIs/DWIs within the past 5 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 48 months.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
