This position is a field-based position based in Roanoke , VA in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovive technologies th can improve the way doctors tre people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbes.

Wh You’ll Work On

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Device Sales Representive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Abbott medical devices to physicians, medical laborories, distributors, and hospitals within an assigned territory. Your efforts will contribute to the growth and success of our product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact, visit, and educe clients and potential clients on the Company’s products, addressing any questions and concerns.
• Build and execute business plans in partnership with management to identify, target, and develop new accounts.
• Provide medical professionals with informion and training on the use of Company products, including staff educion, in-services, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ensure all pertinent pient informion is completed and forwarded to pient tracing when required.
• Manage physical inventory within the assigned territory.
• Collect and study informion about new and existing products, monitoring competitor sales, prices, and products.
• Analyze sales stistics, prepare reports, and perform required administrive sales duties, such as filing expense account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to showcase new products and technologies, meet other sales representives and clients, and discuss new product developments.
• Prepare special analyses as required.
• Stay current on developments in relevant fields of expertise.
• Resolve and/or facilite the resolution of problems, including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence.
• Perform reled duties as assigned or required.

Qualificions:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
• Typically two plus years of sales or clinical support experience with proven experience influencing customers in a healthcare-reled setting.
• Aptitude to analyze and evalue technologically complex devices.
• Ability to work with and direct others effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communicion skills.
• Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operions, and procedures.
• Documented record and/or aptitude for delivering sales/marketing informion to influence customer decision-making.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relionships with customers, physicians, hospital administrors, government agencies, medical groups, and other sales representives.
• Strong verbal and written communicion, negotiion, sales, interpersonal, and presention skills.
• Demonstred working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and relevant applicions.

Preferred Qualificions:

• Experience with Abbott cardiac products.

The base pay for this position is $43,900.00 – $109,200.00. In specific locions, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
