Rare vintage Regal 12 string guitar. Solid spruce top. Mahogany back & sides. Great comfortable neck profile and nut width is not super wide like many 12 strings have. Great vintage tone. Late '60's or early 1970's
The string action is lower at the nut and higher toward bridge. This may be able to be adjusted, but I haven't attempted to adjust it. To restore it, it could probably use a neck reset. But it is now quite playable at lower fret positions and sounds nice. Frets are in good shape with little wear. The bridge has saddle height adjustment screws (see pics). No neck or bridge separation from the body. No structural cracks or breaks. Good working tuners (one plastic tuning knob was replaced with a metal one... This tuner is original though) Pick guard looks newer and professionally installed. There is finish checking and some dings & nicks. I see no structural cracks. The binding on headstock shows some separation and dings, but can be re-glued which I also have not yet attempted. Missing one string & its little pin that holds it in the bridge. A great fixer upper, or play it as is.
