We’re hiring a part-time Field Operator to help install our proprietary IoT sensors on projects in Roanoke.
About the Role:
-Type: 1099 contract
-Time: ~1–2 installations/week (1–2 hrs each)
-Duration: Ongoing for up to 12 months
-Location: On-site
-Training: Paid virtual training (2–3 hours)
-Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
-Install Bluetooth sensors on wood decks before concrete pours
-Follow simple install instructions (no wiring or drilling—just nail and go)
-Coordinate with Buildot’s remote team for scheduling and support
Requirements
-Able to access active construction sites
-Comfortable with basic tools (nail gun, hammer)
-Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
-Tech comfort level (apps, phone sync, etc.) a must
-Background in construction - advantage
-Experience working with clients directly - advantage
