2001 model I believe, not sure. tracks are fairly new. Engine was rebuilt in 2009, however it's only been used a couple of hundred hours since then. About 8,500 hours on the meter, the machine weighs 42,000 lbs. The joystick controlling the track movement does not seem to work. The joystick control was working , and then it had a delayed reaction when you pushed it forward or backward before the tracks engaged sometimes . Then it stopped working altogether . The last time I used it I held it down for about 10 minutes to go forward and finally it started to move . The joystick control seems to move forward and backwards with much more play than when it was working properly so I suspect it's an electrical contact issue . Perhaps some spring limiting the movement of the joystick broke . Make offer or I would hire you to repair the joystick control or whatever is wrong with it perhaps? Update. I started it up the other day and let it warm up and then engaged the joystick control for the tracks and they moved immediately. However they're still must be something wrong. Somebody told me there's a filter somewhere in the transmission system that probably needs changed but I don't know where it is and I would be too old to be able to do it myself now. Somebody else told me there is a transmission oil pump in the system somewhere that needs replaced or fixed or cleaned but I don't know where that is either. Somebody else said it's an issue with the low pressure system activating the high pressure system and there must be a leak in the lines somewhere . Another person, knowledgeable about fixing heavy equipment, said there's an advancement pump that needs replaced or it may have a filter that is clogged which is located under some panels near the top and easy to get to. Yet another person who owns several liebheer loaders says it's probably the final drive device that would have to be removed and rebuilt and I have no idea where that even is. I did look it up on the internet and found some final drives in used condition for right at $1,000 each more or less. Input from yet someone else indicates it might be a clogged filter in the hydraulic system, even though the hydraulics operating the cylinders for the bucket all work fine. Just some ideas. I am too old to get into it myself . The hydraulic hoses should be replaced soon as they are well weathered. The machine could use a repaint job. When working properly this machine will move very quickly, faster than most other types of loaders and you can make a lot of money with it. People keep asking me how much do I want? Well here's one I found that's older than mine, tracks worn out, engine won't run, transmission blown $11,500. Here's one in excellent working condition with about the same hours as mine but the tracks are not as good and it's a 2000 model year $39,500. Mine could be worth that much once fixed. I will communicate only by email through Craigslist as recommended by Craigslist. If you are reading this ad, yes, it is still available.
December 2024 update, it seems that the starter is not working. I suspect the starter will have to be removed and rebuilt or replaced. The starter is not easily accessible but if you are a mechanic that wants a challenge I will pay you to fix the starter so that you can see how good the engine runs and then you can decide whether you want to buy the machine or not.
