The Opportunity

In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the trement of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in rial fibrillion, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

Wh You’ll Work On

This is an entry-level sales position in the EP Product Division.  The EP Associe Sales Representive will have assigned account responsibility and associed annual sales revenue plan.  The annual revenue plan will be determined by the Territory Manager and Regional Sales Manager.  An annual territory business plan will be required from the ASR to layout the plan to establish sales revenue in un-covered or under developed accounts within the assigned territory. 

• Responsible for achieving assigned revenue goals for all accounts in the territory.
• Develops and maintains relionships with new and existing territory customers.
• Develops and maintains an understanding of Abbott’s EP products and competitive technologies
• Provides engineering, sales, and technical support in response to field inquiries and customer requirements.
• Provides regional procedural case coverage where approprie   .
• Provides support as needed in the following areas:  sales support, training & educion, clinical studies/da collection, new product in-service training, fellow’s programs etc.
• Develops and adheres to actionable business plan.
• Performs required administrive sales duties, e.g., filing expense account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans.
• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administrion (FDA) regulions, other regulory requirements, company policies, opering procedures, processes, and task assignments.
• Maintains positive and cooperive communicions and collaborion with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Interacts with customers and assigned institutions, physicians and technicians, customer purchasing and administrion.
• Interacts with all levels of sales and sales management staff.
• Performs other reled duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
• Ability to work with Excel, PowerPoint and other reporting programs to manage sales and territory da.
• Ability to interpret and use sales da to manage territory and accounts effectively.

Required Qualificions

• Bachelor’s Degree or four years of relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• 1-2 years of successful sales or reled business experience, preferably within the medical device industry.
• Well organized, capable of juggling multiple projects and accustomed to tight deadlines.
• Excellent personal computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
• Ability to work in a highly mrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
• Strong verbal and written communicions with ability to effectively communice multiple levels in the organizion.
• Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
• Strong organizional and follow-up skills, as well as tention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presention skills.
• Schedule flexibility for case coverage and client meetings after hours and on weekends.
• Ability to travel approximely 25-50% of the time, dependent on territory geography.

The base pay for this position is $43,900.00 – $109,200.00. In specific locions, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
