A six-year-old outstanding example of the famous Adirondack guide boat. Designed with two rowing stations and seating for two, one in the stern and one in the center. The bow seat though it can be used for a light passenger was originally intended for the sea bag of the passenger going to their island retreat. All the bright work has a seal coat of 50/50 marine Captains varnish and 333, plus three additional coats of varnish. The seats are cane with leather support straps and adjustable for the rowing station. The floorboard has an adjustable footrest and is sealed for moisture but left rough for traction. The solid wood yoke is natural and oiled. All bright work is cherry. The trailer has new tires and bearings. The boat was a five month labor of love. Upon completion, I fractured my spine and had surgery. Post surgery my next vertebrae fractured, cause unknown. I have been directed to sell the vessel because rowing or other forms of lifting or stress will result in further fractures to the spine. If you are looking for an outstanding historical row boat and show boat, the Adirondack is it. Comes with a beautiful set of 8' oars and trailer. REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED
