This chair is well made, quite sturdy - wonderful craftsmanship. I don't know what wood it is, but it has a nice cherry finish, with a handmade needlepoint cushion pad. The seat is slightly molded. It has a bentwood curved wooden back with turned spindles on the back & legs. There's no manufacturers name on it. Excellent condition with no cracks or breakage. Also, it would be great to display a large doll. It dates to the late 1940's or early 1950's.
Dimensions are as follows:
19 1/2" high, 16 1/2" wide, 21" rocker length, 10" seat height. In the photos, the darker color is correct.
