At Elm Manor, we care about the comfort and happiness of each resident. Our purpose is to provide an affordable, pleasing home for those aged 62 and over.
Persons wishing to reside at Elm Manor must have an adjusted income which does not exceed federally established income limits for the Roanoke area. The amount paid for rent, including a utility allowance, will not exceed 30% of an eligible resident's adjusted income.
Elm Manor is an attractively designed, elevator-equipped, non-smoking community offering studio and one-bedroom apartments with kitchens, ovens and refrigerators. Residents furnish their apartments with favorite personal belongings.
Elm Manor is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Roanoke and is on the city bus line. Other amenities include on-site laundry facility, comfortable lounge areas, a secured, non-smoking building and emergency call system.
We are currently accepting applications for Elm Manor Homes, Inc. located just outside of beautiful downtown Roanoke. Elm Manor Homes, Inc. is a non-assisted living community for seniors 62 years of age and older.
Rent is based on income and we are able to work with you on your security deposit! We are pet friendly! One pet per unit under 20 pounds allowed with $150.00 pet deposit and up to date vet records.
Amenities include an on-site laundry room - open 24/7, on-site vending area with drinks and snacks, comfortable common areas, a large, covered gazebo with seating allows you to enjoy the outdoors. Elm Manor is a secure, well-lit building monitored by cameras that is located right on the Roanoke City bus line. Limited parking is available at no charge. Large windows allow lots of natural light. Three floors and all are accessible by elevator.

Completed applications must be accompanied by (6) months of asset statements (checking, savings, money markets, etc.) and income verification (Social Security award letter, pay stubs, etc.). We perform background and credit screening. Positive landlord reference(s) required.
