Here is a 1985 Toyota Camry. The engine has low miles, 115,xxx. 5 speed manual transmission. This car was bought 2 years ago but i never had time to put on the road. Alright guys here is the deal I have had my father-in-law working on this truck for almost a year. Just about everything under the hood is new and it cranks right up. He did most of the body work and it is in primer right now (about 90% complete). I have the front end all apart ready for paint. The side markers have been shaved and so has the antenna. The hooks on the bed have been cut off. The front bumper has some little dings but I was going to color match it anyways. I was going to color match everything except the grille and headlight bezels, but that is just me. Needs someone that knows more about body work than me or him to finish it. But the hard work is done! He replaced all of the cancered areas. It does have a little exhaust leak. Dash has been epoxed and needs sanded and painted. I have the tail gate and one from a newer one but it would be better to be replaced. Floor pans have been repaired and undercoated. Here are all that has been replaced:

Needs a new headlight switch.

I just am ready to move onto another project and my father-in-law has medical issues and can't work on it that much anymore. I am in the Navy stationed in MS and the truck is in Martinsville, VA 24112. I don't have time for it anymore with my other projects going on. I have all the receipts for the items above totaling more than $1400. It does need some wiring done on it to fix the lights, they stay on when the key is on. I am sure I left something out but feel free to come check it out. This truck is just screaming customize me!! I wish I had the money to really finish it the way I wanted to but I have to let something go.

This Rambler American Coupe with 1950's styling gets over 20mpg! Most 50's and 60's classics get way less than that. A beautiful classic car for the new reality of $4 gas! 1958 was the first year that American Motors Corporation (AMC) branded the former Nash Rambler under their own badge. This is the same body style that George Reeves drove when he played Clark Kent in the original Superman TV series.

This Rambler 2 door coupe runs great, brakes great, steers great, shifts great! It is a real head turner, see for yourself with the pictures below. It is a 3sp on the tree that has no problems maintaining 65mph. It has an inline 6cyl, 195cid. I installed three seat belts in the back for my three little girls and their car seats. Putting three babies into the back seat of a 2 door coupe is taking its toll on my back. I am on the lookout for a four door classic.

What it needs: the driver's side window rolls up and down fine, but needs to be glued in the track. The rubber molding on the doors needs to be replaced (available on ebay and Steele Rubber supply), the drivers door inside panel needs to be reinstalled, the carpet needs to be glued down. The trim around the headliner also needs to be reinstalled. It comes with a new emergency brake cable.

The car had an incomplete paint job, no clearcoat was applied so it has crazing. There is only 1 small area of bubbling under the paint (less than 1").

A good paint job and work on the interior and you could have a showpiece!

I am available to show the car most days during the week. I work weekends so arrangements can be made to show it then.

Recent tune up - New air/transmission filter, new water pump, thermostat, replaced the radiator fan.

Everything works in this van, the transmission shifts great, it accelerates quickly, and is very reliable. There are no-mechanical issues with this mini-van. The engine and interior are also very clean. No rust on this vehicle.

However, the van has some cosmetic issues -
Paint is fading in some spots, and is chipping in a few small spots (door handles), and has a large scratch on the right side, though the overall the paint looks fine.

There is a fist-sized dent in the rear-hatch, that does not interfere at all with the mechanics of the rear-hatch.

In the interior, the dash is cracked in one spot, though it isn't too noticeable unless you look for it.

AC will need a recharge, though it blows fine and strong, it's just warm.

The kelley blue book value is $3,200 in fair condition, and this vehicle is easily considered fair condition.
